Both the Interact Club and Rotaract Club of St Michael's Institution will soon have new multi-media Boards to announce their activities and publicise other information relevant and interesting to Michaelians.
These multi-media Boards will be in the form of what is known as a "wakaf". It is shaped like a small wooden house without walls. The St Michael's logo and motto "Quis Ut Deus" as well as the Rotary logo will be carved into the vertical beams.
Michaelians will not only be able to read more elaborate, larger and attractive notices on the Boards but also be able to sit and relax in the wakaf, especially during Recess.
The wakaf should improve the landscape of the SMI grounds.
In addition, a digital LED notice board will be installed at the Entrance to the school. This has been mainly sponsored by the Interact Club of SMI.
The wakaf dan digital notice board and hopefully stand as symbols of the contributions through the ages of Interact to St Michael's and Michaelians.
This symbol has been made possible by an anonymous sponsor sourced by Rotarian Arthur.
