42nd District Interact Conference

1. Conference Date: 3 to 5 December 2010.
2. Conference Venue : Royale Bintang Resort, Seremban.
3. Objective of Conference: To Provide Leadership Training And Motivation.
4. Registration Fee: RM 175 per participant which includes accommodation for two (2) nights and all meals (breakfast, lunch, tea break, dinner and supper) through out the conference.
5. Registration Period: 15 September to 30 October 2010 on a first come first serve basis.
6. Registration on 3rd December 2010 from 8 am – 12 pm only. (700 participants only).
7. Dress Code: All Interactors / participants are advised to dress appropriately at all
No slippers, sandals, sleeveless shirts, mini skirts, shorts, etc. will be permitted during the
Conference. Name tags given on registration, must be worn at all times.
a) Opening Ceremony - Interact / school uniform (with tie)
b) Conference Plenary Sessions / Workshops - Interact Tee-Shirt
c) Sports and Outdoor events - Collared Tee-Shirt and track pants (no shorts)
d) Fellowship / Dinners - Smart Casuals
8. All participants must attend all sessions and must strictly observe punctuality.
9. Sponsoring Rotary Clubs are responsible for the necessary insurance coverage for all Interactors sponsored to the conference by the clubs.
10. Sponsoring Rotary Clubs are responsible for safe transport of their Interactors to and from Seremban.
11. Transport / Travelling arrangement: Participants are to arrange their own transportation to and from the Conference Venue and are to arrive ONLY on the morning of 3rd December 2010. Shuttle buses will be provided from Seremban Terminal 1 & 2 Bus Stations (wait in front of taxi stand) and KTM Commuter Station at specific times to be announced. Outstation participants are required to provide details of their arrival and departure dates and times and mode of transport so that this requirement can be coordinated.
12. The organizers will not accept any responsibility for any valuables and money in case of any loss or damage.

It was a definitely a success as we managed to organise this Prom without any malfunction and with the great audience and not to be forgotten, the awareness regarding Polio diseases has been delivered clearly.

Interact Leadership Training Seminar


Interact Leadership Training Seminar was held at Ipoh International School (IIS) on 25th of September 2010. This seminar was for all the Directors of Interact Clubs around Ipoh.

Interact Club of St. Michael's Institution was represented by President
Beh Ee Jian, Vice President Kwah Ji Kent, Secretary Dhanesh Rajan and Directors Ilmin, Jevin, Alex Tan, Matthew Wong and Khai Jiax.

It was brilliant indeed as this seminar helped us on motivating us to uphold the standard of our Interact Club. It was a success seminar :)
